CommuniCom disclosed today that it has been designated as the local Network Solutions Provider (NSP) for Gateway in the Southeastern Massachusetts Area. By acting in this capacity, CommuniCom will provide technical support for Gateway's small to medium business customers, and municipalities where applicable from Plymouth to Fall River, including the Cape and Islands. By partnering with CommuniCom, Gateway can now provide local area businesses full service from the time they speak to a Gateway sales rep, or visit the local Gateway store, to the time the equipment is installed. Gateway is driven in their attempts to become a full service technology company, and CommuniCom's partnership allows them to achieve this goal at the local level.CommuniCom's role lies in the assessment of the proposed equipment at the time of purchase, as well as all installation and networking configurations upon delivery. CommuniCom will also provide on-going technical support on-site or via Help Desk, depending on each client's needs. Bill Bussiere, manager of the local Gateway Country Store in the Capetown Plaza in Hyannis said today that he's "delighted to have CommuniCom provide all our on-site technical support. I've been waiting for this opportunity to evolve for quite some time, and look forward to our working relationship. We've been discussing the options, and have unofficially serviced a few customers as a team. The results have been overwhelmingly positive. Now that it's official, this gives Gateway more than just a value added advantage over the price-is-everything competition. It makes us a totally vertical technology provider, from the sales and building of the products, right down to the installation. No one else can claim such a position for our customers. It's an enviably strong position from which to deal". Pat Murphy, Director of Sales and Client Relations explained that he and Bill have been discussing such a partnership since the Gateway store opened last December. "It's a perfect fit for CommuniCom. Our customers are the typical small to medium sized businesses who don't want to have to think about how technology works, but do understand how important it is to the success and growth of their business. This relationship is perfect for CommuniCom. It allows us to remain hardware and software neutral, but gives us a channel for all those customer inquiries we get while on-site. My sales staff and I are looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Gateway, in the local market and beyond. This clearly will help CommuniCom grow. CommuniCom is a locally based outsourced technology service provider, providing IT support as well as creative services to local small and medium businesses.
